I've never been to Texas
I've never been to Texas and every time I thought about it someone told me not to go, but I'm going there tomarrow morning. I'm going to Austin for 4 days to see the Austin City Limits Festival. My friends are going and I don't know why I agreed since of the 100 or so shows I can only see about 3 I'd be interested in (Martin Sexton, Decemberists and Wilco).. Also it's supposed to rain heavily on Satruday.. Should be fun.. I'll hopefully have something to report to you when I get back. Until then, have a great weekend!

are you sure you want to be potentially caught in a hurricane's path?? not that I know if it's coming close to austin or anything....
Thanks for your concern.. but I really have no fear of Hurricanes since I don't own a home near ones path. Personally I don't think there is any way I could die in a Hurricane other than by some accident that would have killed me otherwise. I am an exceptional swimmer and I love water.. I also love adventure..
also.. I don't think Austin is in it's path.. it's waaay inland..
Interested to hear your impressions of Austin. When I first traveled there, I expected the promised land. After three trips...
