The TSA

You just have to read this short artice from slate the other day. It talks about what we already know.. that the TSA and the current airline screening process is a bunch of useless time-wasting processes that do nothing to protect us, while doing everything to inconvenience us. All so GWB can say that things are safer now.

Just take as an example how we have to show ID when we get to the checkpoint. Have you ever wondered about this? Who is this protecting? How hard is it for even a low-rent terrorist to obtain a fake ID? Or how about the fact that nail files are confiscated while some types of plastique still don't show up at all during scans? (examples courtisy of "The Week" June 17 issue).

Duh
