Let me just go on record as stating that I think the concert on July 2 is a bad idea. First off, the original stated goal of the concert was to forgive African Debt (which I don't agree with) and that has already been realized. Secondly, Philadelphia gains nothing from hosting the concert yet has all kinds of headaches. Driving around the city will be hell, the cost to the taxpayers is huge (when the money could be better spent on libraries, fire houses, schools, etc.), and who knows what kind of problems we will encounter with 1M + crazy 50 cent fans running around all day. Not to mention that the lineup is really crappy.
